Flapper waits for her steady to gas up the roadster at Fred Wilkins station, corner of Orchard Lake Road and Pontiac Trail. This view looks south down Orchard Lake Road. Gas Station was originally the blacksmith shop for Indian reservation and later toll house for gravel road (later Orchard Lake Road).

The Meating Place – a popular restaurant and lounge. Re-modeled from the former Wilkins restaurant – a long time family operation in the City of Orchard Lake Village. Located at the intersection of Pontiac Trail and Orchard Lake Roads (Summer 1976).
