It is a simple story for children with 5 chapters. The first chapter talks about the Native Americans that lived on Apple Island. The second talks about the first early white settlers on the island. The third talks about farming on the island. The fourth chapter talks about enjoying the island and activities they did on the island. The fifth and final chapter talks about the island today.
