In 1890 there was a turntable for the horse cars at Hamilton and Holden aves. On the running board is Bill Woodruff (Top). Jefferson avenue at Rivard street in 1878 when the aristocracy of the town dwelt in their brick and stone mansions along that leafy avenue (Bottom).
