            | Description | Sylvan Center - photo possibly taken about 1957 by looking at what looks like a Chevy on the right side of the street With a magnifying glass I can see Kentucky Fried Chicken, Ben Franklin, National grocery store, and at the end the Lake Center Drug Store. Great memories here. I used to walk up here a lot Loved going to the dime store. I used to buy my 45's here, which I still have. Also loved the toys and candy! I remember the lunch counter at the drug store had some really great over-sized food displays. A brother of a friend of mine worked there. |
